Prepare before pairing
Use the app and Wi-Fi requirements in the exact model's manual. Position the dock first, clear its approach, charge as instructed and update through the official app. Do not share your Wi-Fi password with this website; our guide does not need it.
Make the first route manageable
Pick up small objects and loose cables, secure trailing fabric and open the doors to intended rooms. Keep pet accidents and other unsuitable messes away from the robot. Observe its first clean rather than assuming obstacle detection will identify everything.
Review the map
Check room divisions, dock location and places the robot should avoid. Add no-go areas and carpet rules where supported. Make sure it can return to its dock without crossing a wet bathroom or an untested step.
Build a routine you can maintain
Start with a supervised room, inspect the result and adjust the supported settings. Choose a schedule that suits the household, then check the brush, mop and dock regularly using the manufacturer's maintenance instructions.
